About the Data
Oregon Records Finder collects public records that Oregon state and county agencies already publish, and puts them in one place with expandable rows and direct links to the source. Nothing is edited; where the site narrows a list (a city, a time window, an unexpired license) the page says so.
Sources
Business registrations — Oregon Secretary of State Business Registry via data.oregon.gov. Registrations with a principal place of business in each city, filed in the last 120 days. Each row links to the SOS record.
Licensed contractors — Oregon Construction Contractors Board licensee list via data.oregon.gov. City pages show contractors with a business address in that city and an unexpired license; the CCB’s list has no status field, so suspensions only show at ccb.oregon.gov.
Restaurant health inspections — County health department portals on myhealthdepartment.com — the most recent inspection per establishment as the portal lists it, kept for 12 months. Multnomah County (Portland, Gresham) uses a different system and is not covered yet.
Building permits and land use — City of Eugene Planning & Development’s issued-permits report and land-use application search; permits are kept for 90 days. Eugene only, because other cities’ permit portals do not offer a comparable export.
WARN Act layoff notices — The public WARN list of the Higher Education Coordinating Commission’s Rapid Response program (ccwd.hecc.oregon.gov), notices received in the past year, each linked to the filed notice.
Benefit companies — Oregon Secretary of State benefit-company designations.
Trademarks — Oregon Secretary of State trademark registry, registrations in the past year.
State employee salaries — Oregon Transparency Program via data.oregon.gov, fiscal year 2026, by agency and job classification; no individual names.
Liquor license applications — OLCC’s public dashboard of new applications received.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Oregon Records Finder a government website?
No. It is an independent site that republishes public records from Oregon agencies. The issuing agency is always the authoritative record; every table links back to it.
How often is the site updated?
Updated weekly. Every page shows when it was last updated, and a page whose source has stopped publishing says so instead of pretending to be current.
Can I get the data in bulk?
The agencies publish it themselves on data.oregon.gov and their own portals — see the source list above. Email contact@oregonrecordsfinder.com for anything else.
I found an error. How do I report it?
Email the page URL and what looks wrong. If the source record is wrong, the fix has to happen at the agency; if the site misread it, it gets fixed in the next run.
